Music Together® teachers across the country share a common passion and enthusiasm for introducing music to young children and their families. Music Together requires that all teachers take the same training to teach the program, and that they continue to inform their teaching by attending ongoing songs- and skills workshops each semester.

Chelsea Pickslay
Chelsea Pickslay is a registered Music Together teacher and has been teaching since the spring of 2006. She and her husband have attended Music Together classes with their own daughter since 2004. For ten years Chelsea worked as a museum educator at several Bay Area museums and is excited about using her education background to teach music. Long before her training as a Music Together teacher, music and dance were always a favorite hobby of Chelsea's which she enjoyed through choirs and ballet classes.
Her happiest childhood memories are of making music with her family and she is passionate about providing parents with the tools they need to create those same types of memories with their own children.
Chelsea plays keyboard in class - you'll love joining in with her sweet voice during a lullaby. |

Barb Sayler
Barb first discovered Music Together with her daughter, and they both fell in love with it! She is a newly registered Music Together teacher, but has been teaching and directing music with all ages for over twenty years. Barb has a BA in Music Education and Vocal Performance from McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas. She taught K-12 general and vocal music in the public schools before entering the non-profit sector as a peace educator and communications coordinator. Barb began making music almost before she could walk, as she sat in a cantaloupe crate entertaining her family with songs as they worked on the farm. She has continued to share her joy in music and especially loves to create a cappella harmonies with a quartet she sings with, JOYA. |
